I have many, many skin tags, and they seem to be multiplying by the dozens lately. They are embarassing to say the least. Most of mine are under my arms, on my neck, and in the folds of skin around my waist. But recently, I have found them in the creases of my legs and inside of my thighs. These rub and become irritated. Some of the older ones have become very large. I am desparate to have them removed, but my doctor said they would always come back and that they are hereditary. Comment from: JP, 55-64 Female (Patient)

I've had increasing numbers of skin tags on my face, eyelids, neck, underarms, front and back torso, and thighs. I've seen a dermatologist about them as well as for rosacea. She removed them with a cauterizing pen, the site healed quickly with no damage to the area treated. More recently my internist removed colonies of skin tags from my neck, midriff, underarms and back with an icy blast which has left skin discoloration where the treatment was given. I don't know which is worse, unsightly skin tags or the spotty discolorations now left on my skin. Published: October 06 ::

I developed skin tags during my pregnancy on the temples of my forehead and underarms. Published: September 10 ::
