Sulforaphane may increase the death of cancer cells.

Are there safety concerns?

Sulforaphane is safe when used in the amounts found in foods. There isn't enough information available to know if it is safe to take by mouth as a medicine.

Do not use sulforaphane in amounts larger than typically found in foods if:
  • You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
