I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia 9 years ago. The pain just was jabs of severe pain in the lower teeth and jaw area. My meds were carbamazepine, baclofen and lyrica. They were increased over the years as the pain became more frequent. Last year I had the MVD surgery and have been pain free since waking up from the surgery.

This article on trigeminal neuralga is great. I have been suffering with this for over 10 years and only found out recently what it is. I have been to several oral surgeons, doctors, emergency rooms, and doctors and no one wants to help. I do have a new doctor.
