cWith my UTI, I had a lot of upper and lower pain throughout my entire torso and radiated to my back, 101.0 fever, and it was very painful when urinating. I have chills and I just feel horrible. It also feels like a lot of trapped gas along with other pain. I was very uncomfortable, so I went to the doctor and the UTI test came back positive.

After urinating, when the stream stopped, I would be overcome by the sensation of having to urinate badly, even though I had just finished. I felt like I had a full bladder and as though I was holding my urine, but I was unable to keep going or even "squeeze" out more. It was quite uncomfortable, bordering on painful, for several minutes afterward. I didn't know what this was and ignored it for about three days. On the fourth day, I began to have back and abdominal pain. I did not feel like I was urinating more frequently (I drink a lot of water and urinate frequently anyway), nor did I detect a change in my urine. When I gave a urine sample at the doctor's office, I could see right away that my urine was dark and cloudy. The doctor said I have significant levels of blood, nitrates, and something else in my urine. She said she was surprised I was not in more pain than I am. Related Reading: abdominal pain

I honestly thought there was nothing wrong with me except for a slight fever which I passed off as hot flashes. Until my husband found me lying on the bathroom floor with no clothes on. I guess all I wanted was to cool down. Anyway I was put in the hospital with a bad UTI with Sepsis. I'm still not over it but I'm out of antibiotics. I'll for sure go back to the Dr. but I can honestly say I had no symptoms until it was too late. Related Reading: hot flashes | Sepsis

I use a catheter every evening, if I don't I do not empty my bladder. The result, I get UTI every six weeks. I have seen my GP, he gives me antibiotics but he is worrying that I am getting used to them and that causes him and me some concern. Must Read Articles Related to Urinary Tract Infections

With my UTI, I have a burning sensation at the end of urinating, then after a couple of days there was blood and more severe burning at the end of urinating.
