Cancer of the Small Intestine Cancer of the Small Intestine: The small intestine is located between the stomach and the large intestine (colon). It can be affected by several different types of cancerous or malignant tumors: adenocarcinomas, lymphomas, sarcomas, and carcinoid tumors. Treatment includes radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.
