Picture of Erythema Annulare Centrifugum

Erythema annulare centrifugum is a chronic reddening of the skin due to dilatation of the blood capillaries. The dilation can be triggered by a number of things including infection, metabolic issues or a hypersensitive reaction to drugs or chemicals. The lesions appear circular or in arches and may have a scale around the edge. It mostly occurs in adults but can affect people of all ages.
