Picture of Eye Allergies

Eye allergy symptoms may be associated with other allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and atopic dermatitis (eczema). Cosmetics and certain medications are common triggers for eye allergies. Over-the-counter eye drops, decongestants, and antihistamines are often very effective to control eye allergy symptoms. In the event of severe tearing, redness, or eye pain, an examination by a doctor is necessary.
