Tuberous Sclerosis (Adenoma Sebaceum)

Tuberous sclerosis complex is a genetic condition that causes the growth of benign tumors in many parts of the body. The photo depicts angiofibromata (singlular= angiofibroma), growths comprised of fibrous connective tissue, on the nose and cheeks of a child affected by tuberous sclerosis complex.
