Robert Kacprowicz,MD, FAAEM

Dr. Robert Kacprowicz, MD, FAAEM, is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Kacprowicz's educational background includes a BS in biology from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He received his MD from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in 1996 and completed residency training in emergency medicine in 2000.

Dr. Kacprowicz has served as teaching faculty in the Joint Army/Air Force residency in emergency medicine in San Antonio, Texas. He has also served as the medical director for the United States Air Force Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officer School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and as part-time faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of New Mexico. Currently, Dr. Kacprowicz is the residency director for emergency medicine in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Kacprowicz is an active writer in emergency medicine and has published articles in the areas of wound care, joint and central nervous system infections, and topics related to military emergency medicine. He currently resides with his wife and son in San Antonio, where he serves on active duty in the United States Air Force.
