Frank J. Weinstock, MD, FACS



Dr. Weinstock is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He practices general ophthalmology in Canton, Ohio, with a special interest in contact lenses. He holds faculty positions of Professor of Ophthalmology at the Northeastern Ohio Colleges of Medicine and Affiliate Clinical Professor in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University. He has served on the Board of the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists and has received many honors including the Lifetime Achievement Award and Senior Honor Award of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, as well as the Senior Honor Award of the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists. He has served on many contact lens company medical advisory boards and has been involved in the development of many new contact lenses.

He is the author of Contact Lenses Fitting: a Clinical Text Atlas. This has been translated into German and Spanish. He has authored many articles on contact lenses, practice management, risk management, glaucoma, and cataracts, plus, many others. He has also lectured nationally and internationally on these topics.

Dr. Weinstock is currently a member of the editorial board of many medical publications, writes two monthly newspaper columns, and serves as a consultant in the area of risk management and other topics.

Dr. Weinstock practices ophthalmology in Canton, Ohio, and divides his time between Canton, Ohio, and Boca Raton, Florida.
