We live in Uganda and our daughter was born with spina bifida and in Uganda such cases are only referred to the children's hospital. However, it is now about 3 years and our daughter hasn't walked yet and recently we observed an abnormality only to be told that something went wrong during the first surgery. We are very disturbed and have no idea on what to do.

I am a young woman with spina bifida. I don’t view it as a disease. I was born with an uncompleted spine but in my life I was given 2 lovely kids. My partner is amazing. I can overcome any hurdle life throws in my way.
