I am 42 years old. I have lumbar spondylosis. I have severe pain between L4 and L5 radiating through my left hip down my leg. I can hardly walk with ease and sitting puts more pressure in my back. Pain is severe in the middle of the night and I have stiffened legs in the morning.

I have cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spondylosis. Physical therapies do little long term; may have exacerbated problems. Thoracic outlet and cervicothoracic joints involved now; extremely painful with swelling. Chiropractic treatment isn't effective. I have arthritis throughout complicated by immunological conditions (rheumatoid arthritis and lupus). My symptoms are pain, crepitus, pain, frequent migraines, cervicogenic headaches, constant spasming, stiffness, and knots. Recent RFA (radiofrequency ablation) on C3-C4 will hopefully provide relief shortly. Can't do anything anymore.

Spondylosis is the most common form of spine bone degeneration that begins to affect people from their middle-age onwards. Spondylosis is usually asymptomatic. Symptoms show up when a bone spur pinches a nerve, or simply begins with pain and stiffness. These symptoms include stiffness in the neck and back, pain in the arms and shoulders, also in lower back and legs, difficulty moving the neck and back, headaches and dizziness.

I get dizzy spells and loss of balance with my spondylosis. I wonder if there is any medicine or physiotherapy for this problem.

I don't know if spondylosis is what I've got. I have been reading everybody's stories here thinking maybe somebody could help me. My symptoms are upper and lower back pain, leg pain, legs and feet go numb for days at a time, and my hips hurt, feels like my hips are spreading apart. Yes, I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands. I have 5 bulging discs in my back about which they are doing nothing.

It is painful to walk with the ache in my hip and the cheeks of buttocks because of spondylosis. Plus I have pain in my groin, all on the right side.

I was diagnosed in 2013 with spondylosis, and I could not move from my floor, after sleeping in a wrong position the night before. I had to walk myself up using my wall. With movement symptoms lessened. Physical therapy helped a lot, and tramadol.

My spondylosis symptom is excruciating pain building up the longer I stand on a spot or sit at work, in my lower back, right buttock and to my knee on right side.

I am 52 years old now. 4Fourmonths back I had severe pain in my left hand starting from thumb. In a few days it went up and up till neck and head (realized it was a particular nerve). It then diminished after 15 to 20 days. Now, same problem with right hand, wrist, shoulder, and neck. My family doctor diagnosed it as spondylosis.

I have had lower back pain for 30 years. I would have periods where it took a month or two to get better. I simply lived with spondylosis. I started taking large amounts of ibuprofen and it worked, but after years of this my Internist referred me to a spine center. I did the MRI and x-ray, which showed I had arthritis of the lower back. I had the steroid Injection. I was totally pain free for 2 years. It returned and I just had it done again. This time I also had hip and leg issues. After 5 days all pain is gone. My next step is to have nerve ablation, which will last longer, I am told. My daughter had L-5 issues after having twins. She had a discectomy and still has bad pain after a year. Try the injections first is my advice. It has certainly been a wonderful for me. My understanding is there is no forever procedure.

In 2005, I had an accident at work. I was diagnosed with degenerate disc disease 16 years later. I have got spondylitis and it is affecting my neck, lower back and the middle of my back. I've never known pain like it before. I can't sleep and my life is a mess. Now the doctor has put me on diazepam because my back keeps spasming. Sometimes I wake up at night not being able to breathe. It is a scary experience, so some nights I don't even sleep.

I have had neck, shoulder, both hips, and low back pain since 1997. I was told I had arthritis in both hips tendinitis in both shoulders and arthritis in my back. Finally I was referred to a spine doctor and he said I have spondylosis.

I had severe pain from spondylosis in either the right or left hip area to the point I could not walk or would limp to the point I could not work. I went to chiropractic treatment as I had trouble getting up and down, and back pain. I am a paratransit bus driver and normally very active, this really stopped me to the point I was in constant pain. I was sent to a back specialist and had a mid, bilateral block. Wow, I feel 100 percent better now. Later he will burn the nerves in this area for what should help me to be pain free. This procedure of the block was done 2 days ago.
