Over time, I had increasingly severe headaches which became unbearable; pain to the point where I suffered non-stop vomiting and would pass out and vomit while unconscious. When my hubby took me to the emergency department, repeated MRIs, etc., showed nothing, so I was denied pain relief. I was finally referred to a pain specialist who diagnosed cervical facet nerve headache, and I underwent successful radiofrequency neurotomy. My years of untreated 'tension' and 'migraine' headaches were cervicogenic!
